LCP Covid Policy
As the new season of plays was planned, Covid was starting to wane and we were all hopeful for a return to normal. As we approach opening night for Women Playing Hamlet, we find that the Delta variant has upset those expectations. Hospitalizations and ICU admissions are at an alltime high. The majority of our patrons are older and more at risk than the general population. To protect our patrons, LCP actors and staff, The Board of Directors has decided to be take extra precautions and implement a MASK MANDATE at LCP. Masks will be required of all theater patrons while they are inside the theater. If you do not have one, masks will be available at the door, along with hand sanitizer. All surfaces and doorknobs will be disinfected before each
show. Due to the size of our lobby, refreshment service will be suspended for this show. Bottled water will be available and can only be consumed outside the theater. Actors will not be masked while on stage, but will be at least six feet away from the audience. If you wish to speak to the cast after the show, they will be on the sidewalk in front of the theater (weather permitting). In addition, patrons will be encouraged to spread out into unsold seats, to create as much social distancing as possible in our small space. If anyone has bought a ticket and would prefer not to wear a mask, we will gladly refund your ticket for this show. Future shows may require masks, depending on the progress against the Covid virus.
